About Susan
Susan earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2006 and her Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2008. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW). Her background includes providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and family systems in a variety of settings.
Susan believes each person has value and worth and tries to meet clients where they are. In the busyness of life, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, unseen, stuck, or anxious. Susan strives to form a trusting relationship with clients and work together to establish and achieve goals that will enhance a client’s emotional and mental well-being. Susan currently sees adolescent and adult clients struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, relationship issues, and grief. Susan is also comfortable integrating faith and spirituality into the counseling process for clients who desire that.
Susan grew up in South Arkansas and returned to El Dorado after living in Central Arkansas for approximately 10 years. She is married and has 3 teenage children. In her free time, Susan can be found at her children’s activities, at church, and spending time with family.
