About Shari
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us feeling discouraged, anxious, or alone. Whether you’re experiencing trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, Shari believes healing begins when you feel truly heard. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients, offering a safe, compassionate space where they can share their story, discover their strengths, and move toward hope and healing.
Shari earned her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arkansas, with additional clinical social work licenses in Ohio and Florida. She has more than 15 years of experience providing trauma-informed counseling and social services to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Today, she enjoys working with adults of all ages, helping them navigate life’s challenges with compassion, hope, and practical support.
Shari is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and is also a Certified Trauma Therapist. She uses a strengths-based approach, meeting each person where they are while helping them take meaningful steps toward lasting change. She specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, grief, survivors of abuse, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
Shari believes no one should have to walk life’s journey alone. Her goal is to create an environment where you feel accepted, supported, and empowered to move forward at your own pace. She knows that healing often happens one courageous step at a time, and that every step forward has the power to create lasting change.
Originally living in Siloam Springs years ago, Shari returned to Northwest Arkansas in 2022 and is grateful to once again call Arkansas home. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, listening to music, and kayaking.
One of the most valuable things we can do to heal one another is to listen to each other’s stories.
