About Jenna

“Be who you want your clients to be by the way you live your life, with honesty and integrity with compassion, with hunger to experience as much as you can in the brief time you will be residing on this planet.” Jeffery A. Kottler

Jenna is a Licensed Associate Counselor who graduated in 2025 from the University of Arkansas with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from John Brown University in 2022. Jenna has completed the 2025 International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship training and uses a systemic lens in working with clients.

Jenna believes in viewing people holistically and within context. She maintains the idea that what has happened within our lives has led us to become the people we are today. She encourages her clients to recognize the values that they have discovered for themselves and desires to help clients experience revisions in their life from previous hurts and hang ups.

Rather than seeing her clients as sick, Jenna views the issues that clients’ experience as them being “stuck” in unwanted patterns. She aims to provide her clients with a space to understand themselves and their relationships more deeply and to facilitate healing within the therapeutic journey as she walks with clients.

Jenna works with a variety of mental and emotional health concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relational and attachment issues, life transitions, identity development, and spirituality concerns. She sees children, adolescents, and adult clients. Her goal in counseling is to join their clients in their healing journeys through listening well, offering encouragement, organizing stories, and providing a safe space. Every individual has a unique life and story. Jenna feels honored to be trusted by her clients to hold their stories with a gentle and caring heart.

Outside of the counseling space, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring outdoor spaces, reading, watching movies, going on walks, and learning new hobbies. She is a middle-child of 5 children and understands the impact of family structure on mental health. Jenna is comfortable discussing matters of faith and spirituality within the counseling space and recognizes that the spiritual dimension of an individual’s life can be both a comfort and a source of pain and hurt. Her ultimate focus in and out of the counseling space is to practice holistic health in all dimensions: physical, mental, social,
