About Gabriella
Northwest Arkansas is Gabbie’s home (Go hogs!) She attended John Brown University and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology in 2019. In the summer of 2022, She received her Master’s of Science degree in Counseling at JBU. She interned at Waters Edge during her Master’s degree and worked with teenagers and children as well as adults.
Once she received her LAC, Gabbie worked at Arisa Health Therapeutic Day Treatment in Siloam Springs. She created a safe space for children in crisis to be themselves and worked with families to help the children in crisis at school and elsewhere.
Gabbie is licensed as an LPC and is working on getting certified in play therapy. She has training and experience with children dealing with traumatic early childhood experiences as well as anxiety, bullying, depression, and suicidal ideation. She has experience giving adults and parents space to process and learn how to better help their children or themselves to live a full life, whatever that looks like for them. She hopes to create a safe place for children, adults, and adolescents to be themselves and work through their emotions in their own time.
Gabbie is passionate about learning about and helping marginalized groups such as neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQ+ people, and racially diverse groups. She loves to watch documentaries in her free time, sit down with a good book, and hang out with her cat Sydney.
