About Debbie
Debbie obtained her Master’s degree in Community Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University. She obtained credentials as a Licensed Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) in 2012 and a Clinical Supervisor for LADAC in 2014.
Debbie previously worked as a counselor and program director in Recovery Services at a Northwest Arkansas Community Mental Health. In her work there, she facilitated therapeutic groups and individual sessions with adults who have co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Debbie works with individuals and couples addressing relational, anger management and trauma issues. She utilizes a variety of interventions in her work, including play therapy. She is also trained in EMDR – one of the leading techniques recommended for PTSD treatment.
At home, Debbie’s African Gray (bird) Sweetie, is busy entertaining her puppies with her singing abilities and dancing moves.
