About April
Originally from Missouri, April received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 2004, April relocated to Siloam Springs to attend John Brown University, graduating in 2007 with a dual Masters of Science degree in Community Counseling and Marriage & Family Counseling. In addition, she completed her certification to become a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor.
April worked with Ozark Guidance Center for over five years in School-Based Services, specifically within the Gentry School District. In 2013, April moved into a private practice setting.
April then began working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of needs such as: anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, grief, relationships, and spectrum disorders.
In addition to a variety of effective interventions, April has three therapy dogs in training available for session.
