About Amanda
Amanda is originally from eastern Oklahoma where her and her husband met as second graders. They have now been married for 26 years and have 3 great kids- ages 29, 21, and 11. Amanda is Sooner Born and Sooner Bred and a proud alumni of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Masters degree in Social Work. _ Amanda has spent the last few years in clinical work with a variety of populations. As a social worker, she has years of experience as a case manager, a therapist and a program administrator, working with children and families who have experienced many of the challenges that adversely impact their ability to make positive changes in their lives. Her goal as a social worker is to help people recognize and remove barriers in order to access the tools they need to be happier and healthier. Amanda enjoys working with children and families, adolescents, and adults. Special areas of interest include parent relationships and the LGBTQIA+ community.
